Maine Man Indicted On Drug, Trying To Bribe Trooper Charges: Docs

Plus: Salem woman indicted on robbery charge; Texas woman accused of forgery; Portsmouth woman indicted on indecent exposure charge.

BRENTWOOD, NH — The following people were indicted recently in Rockingham County Superior Court.

Alysia Mae Florent, 28, of Pleasant Street in Salem on a felony robbery charge. She was accused of using physical force during a theft incident at JC Penny’s in Newington on July 23, 2021.

Garrito Fort, 37, of Seabrook on one count of first-degree assault with a deadly weapon, one count of convicted felons, and two counts of criminal threatening with a deadly weapon, all felonies. He was accused of pressing a firearm against the face of one man, threatening a second man with the firearm, and breaking a finger and causing a head injury by striking a third man with a firearm on Oct. 7, 2021, in Seabrook. The convicted felons count concerned being accused of possessing a firearm on Nov. 1, 2021, in Seabrook. Fort is a felon due to kidnapping, assault and battery with a deadly weapon-shod foot, assault and battery against a family member, assault and battery with a deadly weapon-a computer in December 2016; breaking and entering in the daytime in December 2008; and assault and battery with a knife in December 2007. Mark S. Foster, 30, of Spruce Street in Manchester on a felony theft by unauthorized taking charge. He was accused of stealing items from Hannaford in Londonderry on Sept. 10, 2021. Twice before, according to the indictment, he has been convicted on theft charges.

Joshua Andrew Fowler, 42, of Appleton Street in Manchester on burglary and theft by unauthorized taking charges, both felonies. He was accused of burglarizing a Main Street residence in Hampstead and stealing credit cards, jewelry, and other items valued at more than $1,500 between Sept. 10, and Sept. 15, 2021.

Colin Frick, 37, of County Road in Gorham, Maine, on controlled drug act; acts prohibited-fentanyl and bribery in official or political matters charges, both felonies. He was accused of being in possession of the drug in Raymond on March 20, 2021, and offering a New Hampshire State Police trooper $200 to allow him to go back into his truck before the trooper requested a search warrant of the vehicle. Update: In October 2023, Frick pleaded guilty to control of vehicle, disorderly conduct, and received a 12-month sentence, suspended for two years.

Jonathan L. Fuller, 37, of 6th Street in Dover on a felony receiving stolen property charge as well as disobeying an officer and driving after revocation or suspension charges. He was accused of possessing a stolen Subaru Forester on Nov. 4, 2021, in Sandown and failing to provide information to a police officer when driving and being stopped on Pheasant Run Road when he was not licensed to drive.

Adan Barragan Garcia, 43, of 31st Street in Port Alto, Texas, on forgery and falsifying physical evidence charges, both felonies. She was accused of possessing a fake Oklahoma non-driver’s ID card and presenting it to a state trooper on April 18, 2021, in Portsmouth.

Alexander Matthew Garrett, 28, of Blake Road in Epping on habitual offender and unlawful interference with fire alarm apparatus charges, both felonies. He was accused of driving in Fremont after being deemed a habitual offender on Oct. 9, 2021, and removing a sprinkler head at the Rockingham County Jail in Brentwood on Jan. 28, 2021.

Kayla Geoffrion, 23, of Garfield Road in Portsmouth on a felony indecent exposure and lewdness charge. She was accused of having sex with a man in front of a child under 16 on Sept. 29, 2021, in Portsmouth.

Rodney D. Gerard, 60, of Mammoth Road in Dracut, Massachusetts, on felony reckless conduct with a deadly weapon charge. He was accused of accelerating his vehicle forward while another person was attempting to get out on May 7, 2021, in Exeter.
