Nashua Man Arrested On Drug, Second DUI Charges: Salem Police Log
Plus: Overdose at the Red Roof Inn; Salem man arrested on stalking charges; elderly Dracut woman faces conduct after an accident charge.
SALEM, NH — Weslley Azevedo Xavier, 20, of Magnolia Street in Malden, Massachusetts, was arrested on Feb. 8, 2023, on a bench warrant and a bail jumping charge. He was arrested on a warrant at the Middlesex County Jail in Massachusetts.
Luis Antonio Bautista, 28, of Bowdoin Street in Lawrence, MA, was arrested on a bail jumping charge at 11:52 a.m. on Feb. 7. He was arrested at Lawrence District Court in Massachusetts on a warrant.
Jose Morales, 52, of Palmer Street in Salem, MA, was arrested at 12:33 a.m. on Feb. 7 on a felony theft charge due to two prior convictions. Police were sent to the Red Roof Inn after a taxi cab driver reported there was a fare who was refusing to pay. Officers attempted to contact the fare, who was inside a room, and the man was arrested later.

Robert H. Ayles, 40, of Casco Drive in Nashua was arrested at 10:35 p.m. on Feb. 2 on possession of controlled drug, possession of controlled drug-subsequent, driving under the influence, driving under the influence-second offense, disobeying an officer, and two driving after revocation or suspension charges. He was arrested after a motor vehicle stop on Main Street.
Paula Judith Maraganis, 72, of Morris Street in Dracut, MA, was arrested at 4:27 p.m. on Feb. 2 on a conduct after an accident charge. She was arrested on a warrant.

An overdose involving a woman was reported at the Red Roof Inn at 2:59 p.m. on Feb. 2.
Johnnie L. Boynton, 41, of Clay Street in Littleton was arrested at 1:11 p.m. on Feb. 2 on two possession of controlled drug-subsequent charges. He was arrested after a motor vehicle stop on Interstate 93 north at Exit 2.
James R. Stewart III, 40, of South Shore Road in Salem was arrested on two stalking charges and a single breach of bail count. He was arrested on a probation violation at Salem District Court and held on preventative detention.
