Nashua, Hudson Police Arrest 5 During Operation Granite Shield Effort

The Hudson, Nashua, and Tilton residents were arrested on various charges, including drug possession and receiving stolen property charges.

NASHUA, NH — Hudson and Nashua police teamed up during the week of Jan. 2 to arrest five people as part of an Operation Granite Shield “coordinated roundup.”

The three men and two women were arrested for various reasons “including various drug crimes, crimes frequently associated with criminal behavior related to drug activity and other criminal offenses,” Det. Sgt. Andrew Roy of the narcotics intelligence division of the Nashua Police Department said.

Two Nashua residents were arrested. Anthony Tidwell, 27, of Torrey Road was arrested on a felony possession of methamphetamine charge. Tyler Humphrey, 29, of Pulpit Place was arrested on a receiving stolen property charge.

Two women from Cheney Drive in Hudson were also arrested. Brittanie Shemchuk, 28, was charged with stalking and resisting arrest, while Carolyn Gallaher, 26, faces a hindering apprehension charge.

Also arrested was Robert Ayles, 40, of East Main Street in Tilton on a felony possession of a controlled drug-heroin/fentanyl charge and a capias warrant.

Ayles and Tidwell were released on personal recognizance and are due Hillsborough County Superior Court at a future date. Humphrey was also released on personal recognizance and is due in Nashua District Court at a future date. Gallaher is due in Nashua District Court on Feb. 2. Shemchuk was released on $1,000 cash bail and was arraigned in Nashua District Court on Jan. 4.
