Newton Man Indicted On Child Sexual Assault Charges: Court Roundup

Maine man indicted on drug dispense charge; Mass. man faces strangulation indictment; elderly Kingston man indicted after Plaistow crash.

BRENTWOOD, NH — A Rockingham County grand jury recently indicted the following people.

Daniel Ayotte, 28, of Stafford Road in Fall River, Massachusetts, on a felony second-degree assault-strangulation-domestic violence charge. He was accused of strangling an intimate partner in Derry between March 24 and March 25.

Michael Peter Boivin, 50, of Heath Street in Newton on felonious sexual assault and four aggravated felonious sexual assault charges, all felonies. He was accused of sexually assaulting and fondling a girl and having the girl fondle him between Aug. 14, 2013, and Aug. 13, 2018, in Newton.

Michael Boody, 42, of Route 2 in Smyrna Mills, Maine, on a felony possession of a controlled drug with intent to dispense charge. He was accused of possessing 5 pounds of marijuana in Portsmouth on Nov. 11, 2020.

Audrey Rae Bowden, 33, of South Avenue in Derry on a felony second-degree assault charge. She was accused of striking a child under 13 with a wooden spoon, causing bruising, on Feb. 24 in Derry.

Michael James Brochu, 35, of West Hollis Street in Nashua on a felony driving while being certified as a habitual offender count as well as driving after revocation or suspension, driving without giving proof, and motor vehicle not equipment with an alcohol interlock device charges. He was accused of driving on Harvey Road in Londonderry on May 4 after being deemed a habitual offender by the state of New Hampshire.

Barry Burrows, 78, of Merrill Avenue in Kingston on a felony conduct after an accident charge. He was accused of failing to stop after a crash at the Main Street and Westville Road intersection in Plaistow that caused personal injury or death and damage to a vehicle on Aug. 2.

Zachary L. Butts, 38, of Meadow Lane in Bradford, Vermont, on two felony possession of a controlled drug-subsequent charges, crack cocaine and fentanyl, on April 27 in Londonderry.

Ryan Patrick Raiche, 41, of Beechstone in Portsmouth on two burglary, two domestic violence-criminal threatening, domestic violence-false imprisonment, felon in possession of a deadly weapon-knife, two attempted aggravated felonious sexual assault, and three second-degree assault counts, all felonies, and false imprisonment, criminal threat against a person, and two sexual assault-domestic violence-aggravated circumstances charges. He was arrested of burglarizing a home in Londonderry on April 30, possessing a knife and threatening to use it against a woman and girl, cutting the woman, blindfolding a girl, placing a blanket over the head of a second child, and threatening to rape the girl if she did not give him her cellphone or car keys. Christian Ramirez-Soto, 18, of Ferry Street in Lawrence, MA, on burglary and theft by unauthorized taking-firearm charges, both felonies. He was accused of working in concert with others to steal firearms from Second Amendment Outdoors in Derry on Dec. 8, 2021.

Katie Jean Regan, 36, of Pear Tree Road in Haverhill, MA, on possession of fentanyl and delivery of articles prohibited-fentanyl on March 23 in Brentwood at the Rockingham County Jail.

Jeffrey Jessie Riel Jr., 36, of Concord Hill Road in Pittsfield on a felony habitual offender charge. He was accused of driving on Rochester Road in Northwood on March 28.

Mason Anthony Rivet, 19, of Winnicutt Road in Stratham on a felony assaults by prisoners charge. He was accused of assaulting a corrections officer on Jan. 11 at the Rockingham County Jail in Brentwood.

Donald J. Rowley, 33, of Bradstreet Road in Hampton on a felony sale of crack cocaine charge on Jan. 3, reportedly to a confidential informant-source of the Seabrook police.
