Salem Man Indicted On Child Rape Charges: Superior Court Roundup
Stratham man faces 16 child sexual abuse images counts; MA, ME residents indicted on drug dealing charges; man indicted on ID fraud charges.

BRENTWOOD, NH — A Rockingham County grand jury indicted the following people recently.
Abdelouahab Adel, 25, of Memorial Drive in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on attempted theft by deception, theft by deception, and two identity fraud charges, all felonies. He was accused of presenting a counterfeit driver’s license to obtain money from another person’s bank account in Salem and Windham on Oct. 16, 2024.
Jennie Frances Afonso, 38, of Warrenton Road in Haverhill, MA, on a felony possession of a controlled drug-amphetamine and DUI charges as well as an open container violation on Main Street in Salem on Jan. 31, 2024.

Yoan Alexander Aguasviva-Familia, 23, of Haverhill Street in Lawrence, MA, on possession of fentanyl with intent to distribute, possession of fentanyl with intent to distribute, sale of fentanyl, and three sale of meth charges, all felonies. He was accused of selling or dispensing the drugs on Aug. 15, Aug. 25, Sept. 5, and Sept. 10, 2024, in Salem.
Yandel Enrique Alvarado, 19, of Hildreth Avenue in Lowell, MA, on a felony sale of a substance represented to be a controlled drug-oxycodone on June 24, 2024, allegedly to a confidential source working with the Salem police in Salem.

Mario John Antimone, 46, of Palmer Avenue in Saugus, MA, on four felony counts of possession of a controlled drug-crack cocaine, meth, buprenorphine, and alprazolam, on June 10, 2024, in Exeter.

Jose Lara, 27, of Davis Terrace in Lowell, MA, on four theft by unauthorized taking charges. He was accused of stealing iPhones from Apple in Salem on June 16 and July 3, 2024.
Ryan Daniel Leonard, 30, of Strawberry Lane in Stratham, on 16 felony counts of possession of child sexual abuse images. He was accused of possessing photos of girls being raped and assaulted on June 11, 2024, in Stratham.
Hochy Antonio Lora, 36, of Bartlett Avenue in Haverhill, MA, on a felony criminal mischief charges. He was accused of damaging a light pole after crashing into another vehicle and then punctured the other vehicle’s tires on July 9, 2024, in Salem.
Tracy Lowell, 54, of Haley Town Road in Brownfield, Maine, on conspiracy to possess fentanyl with intent to distribute-subsequent and possession of fentanyl with intent to distribute charges, both felonies. She worked with William Bodeau to drive to Lawrence, MA, to buy the drug and then sold it in Greenland on Dec. 27, 2023, according to an indictment. Lowell was previously convicted of aggravated trafficking in Maine in January 1995.
Mishawn MacDonald, 37, of Academy Street in Laconia, on possession of fentanyl with intent to distribute-subsequent offense and possession of meth with intent to distribute-subsequent offense charges, both felonies. He was accused of possessing 5 grams or more of fentanyl and meth on Feb. 4, 2024, in Windham. Previously, according to the indictment, MacDonald was convicted on possession charges in 2018 and 2020 in Belknap County.
Kelly A. Maggio, 35, of Holstein Avenue in Londonderry, on willful concealment and receiving stolen property charges, both felonies. Maggio was accused of stealing items from Macy’s at the Mall at Rockingham Park in Salem on Feb. 4, 2024. In another incident, Maggio worked with Scott Bellville to retain stolen merchandise at Macy’s, according to the indictment. Twice before, according to the indictment, Maggio was convicted on theft charges in 2012 in Hillsborough County Superior Court North and 2016 in Caroll County.
Wallace A. Martland Jr., 59, of Emerald Drive in Salem, on four aggravated felonious sexual assault and felonious sexual assault charges, all felonies. He was accused of raping a child and having a child fondle him between Oct. 1, 2000, and Oct. 1, 2005, in Salem.
