Londonderry Man Indicted On Domestic Violence, Threat Charges: Superior Court Roundup

Teen indicted on child rape charge; Portsmouth man indicted on threat charge against teachers, cops; child sexual abuse images indictment.

BRENTWOOD, NH — A Rockingham County grand jury indicted the following people recently.

Kyle A. Barka, 32, of Manchester Street in Manchester, on second-degree assault and conduct after an accident charges, both felonies, as well as conduct after an accident, driving after revocation or suspension-subsequent, and suspension of vehicle registration. He was accused of causing bodily injury to another during a crash on Interstate 93 July 15 in Londonderry. Barka was also accused of leaving the scene of the crash. Nicholas Joseph Batista, 24, of Constitution Drive in Londonderry, on domestic violence and criminal mischief charges, both felonies. He threatened to use a deadly weapon — a television, against a woman by saying if she made a sound, he would smash her over the head with it and kill her on July 23 in Londonderry, according to the indictment. Batista was also accused of smashing the windshield of her car and-or a door with a rock causing more than $1,500 worth of damage.

Christoph Michael Berger, 28, of Sparhawk Street in Portsmouth, on criminal threatening-domestic violence and two criminal threatening charges, all felonies. He was accused of threatening to shoot a family member, burn down all the schools in the city of Portsmouth, and kill teachers and cops to “take the dungeon down,” adding, “I have bombs” and “tell them to learn to mind their business” on July 5.

William Bodeau, 60, of Haley Town Road in Brownfield, Maine, on conspiracy to possess a controlled drug with intent to distribute-fentanyl and possession of a controlled drug-fentanyl with intent to distribute charges, both felonies. He drove Tracy Lowell from Maine to Lawrence, Massachusetts, while one of them purchased the drug with plans to sell it in Greenland on Dec. 27, 2023, according to the indictment.

Timothy Hefferon, 38, of Gonic Road in Rochester, on a felony driving while being certified as a habitual offender charge. He was accused of driving on Lafayette Road in Seabrook on June 2, 2023, after being deemed a habitual offender by the NH DMV.

Juan Pablo Herrera Isaza, 23, of Pleasant View Avenue in Everett, Massachusetts, on a felony theft by unauthorized taking charge. He worked in concert with Juan Andres Bolivar Alvarez to steal merchandise from Macy’s at the Mall at Rockingham Park in Salem on March 1, according to the indictment.

Becky Ann Hewes, 40, of 4th Street in Manchester, on possession of fentanyl and possession of crack cocaine charges, both felonies, on May 31 in Salem.

Robert Fred Jones, 57, of Heritage Avenue in Rochester, on possession of fentanyl, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of buprenorphine charges, all felonies, in Epping on June 25.

Don Howard Little, 40, of Wilson Street in Manchester, on a felony habitual offender charge. He was accused of driving on South Broadway Street in Salem on July 18 after being deemed a habitual offender by the NH DMV.

Aiden Michael Watts, 19, of Red Oak Drive in Plaistow, on an aggravated felonious sexual assault charge. He was accused of raping a girl on Jan. 10, 2021, in Sandown.

Kurt Andrew Wicander, 22, of Edwin Lane in Newmarket, on 10 felony possession of child sexual abuse images charges. He was accused of possessing videos on March 26, March 28, April 18, July 19, Sept. 8, Sept. 21, Sept. 28, Oct. 28, Dec. 28, 2022, and Sept. 11, 2023, in Newmarket.
