Berkeley Expands Ring Surveillance Subsidies Amid Car Thefts

Here's how Berkeley residents can apply online for a discount on Ring surveillance equipment.

Berkeley Township has expanded the availability of the Ring subsidy program, offering more residents a $100 discount on the video-surveillance technology. Bayville residents can apply here.

If discounts are still available, Ring will send you a coupon to order online. Each household can only get one, but residents can get $30 off two items and 20 percent off accessories, officials said.

The township and police provided Ring surveillance equipment to residents Saturday at Berkeley Town Hall. Berkeley residents have experienced a string of thefts from their vehicles in recent months.
