Burlington Co. Man Stored Over 1K Child Porn Files To Cloud: Prosecutor

WILLINGBORO, NJ — A Burlington County man had more than 1,000 images and videos of child pornography, authorities said.

Arthur Pitt, 55, of Willingboro, stored the material on a digital cloud, according to the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office (BCPO). The agency began investigating Pitt after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.

Pitt was charged with possession of child sex abuse material. He was arrested Tuesday at his home and released from Burlington County Jail the day after, following his first court appearance.

Prosecutors intend to present the case to a grand jury for possible indictment.

Pitt was at least the fourth Burlington County resident charged with child pornography offenses in separate cases this month. Men living in Riverside, Marlton and Burlington Township were also charged.
