Foul Play Not Suspected After Skeletal Remains Found Near Cinnaminson

Foul play is not suspected in the case of skeletal remains found in a Riverton backyard, 6 ABC reports.

A State Police forensics anthropologist began examining the bones this week, according to the report. Donna Fontana is attempting to determine age, sex and ancestry of the bones, and if bones from multiple people have been uncovered, according to the report.

The remains were found late last month by crews digging in the rear yard of a home while installing a swimming pool, according to NBC 40.

The bones were buried six feet underground, and have likely been there at least 50 years, according to the report.
