Mystery Continues Surrounding Skeletal Remains Found in Backyard of Home Near Cinnaminson

While the investigation has wrapped up, investigators are no closer to identifying the skeletal remains found in a Riverton backyard on Monday, the Burlington County Times reports.

The age of the remains has led some in the neighborhood to speculate the remains belong to a Native American or a Colonial settler, according to the report.

No foul play is suspected.

The remains were found on Monday by crews digging in the rear yard while installing a swimming pool, according to NBC 40.

Investigators are also looking into the possibility the site is an old grave site, according to the Courier Post.
