Skeletal Remains Found in Backyard of Home Near Cinnaminson

Law enforcement is investigating the discovery of skeletal remains in a Riverton backyard, the Burlington County Times reports.

No foul play is suspected.

The remains were found on Monday by crews digging in the rear yard while installing a swimming pool, according to NBC 40. It’s unclear how long the remains have been there, according to the report.

Investigators are also looking into the possibility the site is an old grave site, according to the Courier Post.

A State Police forensic anthropologist was set to examine the remains on Tuesday.
