Westfield Area Y Golf Classic & Auction Raises $ for Kids in Need

The Westfield Area YMCA's 14th annual Golf Classic & Auction raised $71,000 to help send children in need to camp or child care at the Y.

The Westfield Area YMCA’s 14th annual Golf Classic & Auction held at Echo Lake Country Club in May raised $71,000 to help send children in need to camp or child care at the Y. The rain held out and participants enjoyed a full day on the course followed by a cocktail hour, buffet dinner, silent auction and live auction facilitated by WCBS TV weathercaster John Elliott. The Y thanks the course sponsors: Martins Builders, Stillwell-Hansen, Inc. and the Westfield Area Y Men’s Club for their support, in addition to the rest of the sponsors, golfers, auction donors and volunteers for their participation.
