RWJ University Hospital To Host Blood Drive In East Brunswick

There is currently a shortage of blood supply in the state and region due to COVID-19 and inclement weather.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJUH) Blood Services is partnering with Brunswick Square Mall in East Brunswick to host a blood drive Thursday, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The drive is being held as blood supplies in the state and region have slipped to extremely low levels due to the impact of COVID-19 and the recent inclement winter weather.

RWJUH Blood Services urges everyone to donate blood or other blood products such as platelets and plasma if they can.
