It was initially reported that Allison Vandal suffered a medical emergency last week during school. Superintendent of Schools Jeff Moore said the Hunterdon Central sophomore from Readington passed away on Saturday and that the cause of death was suicide.

Someone stole a New Jersey state trooper's unmarked patrol car from the driveway of his North Brunswick home on Sunday and used it to commit robberies. The car pulled two drivers over so far to rob them, State Police said.
