Bergen ResQ Group Going To Florida To Save Pets
The group has already rescued dozens of dogs from flood-ravaged Texas. Now members are headed to Florida in anticipation of Hurricane Irma.

ENGLEWOOD, NJ — First they brought dozens of pets here, now they are going to them.
Pet ResQ, a Bergen County-based animal rescue group, is going to Miami-Dade County as Hurricane Irma barrels toward Florida. The group had dozens of abandoned and rescued pets from flood-ravaged Houston when Hurricane Harvey swept through Texas. The group is also going to Louisiana.
Robyn Urman, the organization's founder, said the group is trying to get down to Florida to save as many pets as possible before they are euthanized.

Pet ResQ needs gift cards for supplies and a four-wheel drive vehicle, such as a Suburban, so they can transport as many animals as possible.
The organization also needs people to care for animals in foster homes and adopt them.
