3 Water Main Breaks In 24 Hours In Fair Lawn
Breaking: 2 water main breaks were reported Tuesday night and another on Wednesday afternoon, police said.

FAIR LAWN, NJ — There have been three water main breaks reported in the borough since Tuesday afternoon, including two on Berdan Avenue.
Two water main breaks were reported Tuesday afternoon, police said. One of them was on Berdan Avenue between Orchard and 12th Streets, police said.
Another water main break was reported Wednesday afternoon, also on Berdan Avenue, near Cadmus Place, police said. Personnel from the borough Water Department were at the scene, police said.

Capt. Brian LaRosa said the borough's Department of Public Works has been working to fix the breaks, but could not provide further information.
Public Works Superintendent Alan Neggia could not immediately be reached for comment on the phone or by email.
