Coyote Seen Near Saddle Brook High School Tuesday
The high school and middle school were placed on lockdown.

SADDLE BROOK, N.J. — A coyote was seen at Saddle Brook High School early Tuesday afternoon, police said.
The animal was reportedly seen on the east side of the property and was moving towards Saddle River Park, police said. The high school and middle school were placed on lockdown as a precaution.
The police department posted an alert on its Facebook page and sent out an email alert after the animal was spotted.

Anyone who sees a coyote should stay away from the animal and report the sighting to police at 201-843-7000.
