FAIR LAWN, NJ — The Fair Lawn Food Pantry is currently helping feed 50 families a week, but could have troubling doing so if not for new donations, according to a May 11 Facebook post.

The post stated that as the number of families receiving weekly aide increases, the stock of food items needs to grow as well.

"We are currently helping 50 families per week (and growing) and we are starting to run out of items. Donations of non-perishable food or personal items are critically needed at this time," the post reads.

Physical donations would be most helpful due to restrictions and item limits at grocery stores, according to the post, but monetary and gift card donations are still accepted.

There is a bin for donations outside the Parmelee Ave. entrance of Borough Hall. Donations are accepted until 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
