Fair Lawn Man Charged With Dealing Drugs Near School

FAIR LAWN, NJ — A borough man was charged with dealing drugs near a school after police searched his home April 13.

Gabriel Moreno, 23, was arrested after police executed a search warrant at his 35th Street home, said Sgt. Brian Metzler.

Police found 217 grams of marijuana, $3,637 in cash, assorted drug paraphernalia, and a digital scale in Moreno's home, Metzler said. The home is located near Warren Point Elementary School.

Moreno was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute marijuana with 1,000 feet of a school, possession of more than 50 grams of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
