Family Donates Teddy Bears To Help Kids: Fair Lawn Police

Cops will use the bears to help put a smile on kids' faces who are involved in police incidents.

FAIR LAWN, N.J. — A borough native donated teddy bears to the police department Monday that will help kids involved in police incidents.

Rishi and Nehal Ramchandani donated 20 teddy bears after seeing a newspaper article that police in Pennsylvania needed teddy bears to help make children happy during incidents.

Ramchandani contacted PBA Local 67 President and former classmate Luis Vasquez to see if Fair Lawn Police officers wanted bears. They did.
