Crash, Fuel Spill Closes Part Of Route 208 In Fair Lawn

The crash occurred at the Route 4-Route 208 split, police said.

FAIR LAWN, NJ — Part of Route 208 was closed Wednesday afternoon after motor vehicle crash and motor vehicle crash where diesel fuel spilled on the roadway.

The crash happened at the Route 208 North and Route 4 split, police said.

Police did not say exactly when the crash occurred.

Route 208 North was reopened shortly after 1:45 p.m. Clean up crews worked throughout the afternoon to clean up the fuel spill.
