Man Charged With Possession After He Hands Marijuana To Fair Lawn Police: Authorities
Man was arrested following a traffic stop Friday morning.

FAIR LAWN, N.J. — Police charged a man with marijuana possession after he handed an officer some of the substance during a traffic stop Friday morning, authorities said.
Officer Robert Manning initiated a motor vehicle stop on Fair Lawn Avenue at 10:16 a.m. Friday and arrested a passenger, James Davidek, 48, of Washington Township, after he handed marijuana to Manning, said Sgt. Brian Metzler.

A second passenger, Stefan Erik Nippert, 26, of Wilmington, Delaware was arrested when police discovered he had an active warrant out for his arrest from Chester County, Pennsylvania, Metzler said.
Dividek was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia and was released, the sergeant said. Nippert was sent to Bergen County Jail to await extradition to Pennsylvania, authorities said.
