Newest Fair Lawn Police Officer Sworn In
Brian Goodson, 37, was a Marine and Operation Desert Shield veteran.
The newest Fair Lawn police officers was sworn in at a council meeting Dec. 8.
Officer Brian Goodson, 37, was a member of the United States Marine Corps from 1998 and 2002 and is a veteran of Operation Desert Shield.
Goodson started his law enforcement career as a corrections officer with the Passaic County Sheriff’s Department in 2003. He then became a police officer with Paterson Police Department in 2005, where he serving on the Emergency Response Team until his move to the Fair Lawn Police Department.

Goodson will be assigned to the patrol division.
