Bergen Authorities Seeking Serial Stalker Who Got In Bed With Woman: Report

BREAKING: The woman screamed and scared the man off, but not before he asked if he could stay the night, police said.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Police are warning residents to be on the lookout for a serial stalker.

Palisades Park Police released a new sketch of the man they think is responsible for stalking women and a break-in June 18, ABC7 reported.

The man reportedly broke into a woman's Fourth Street home at about 5 a.m. and went into her bed while she slept; the woman woke up and he asked her if he could spend the night, the report said.

The woman screamed and the man ran away, police said.

In another incident, the man reportedly followed a woman into her Grand Avenue home, knocked on the door and made sexual comments to her before running away, PIX11 reported.

Another woman said she was walking on Roosevelt Place near ShopRite when she saw the man standing outside of her house; the woman's brother confronted the man, who reportedly said he was lost, PIX11's report said.

Palisades Park Police Chief Mark Jackson could not be reached for comment.

Police are asking anyone who may recognize the man to call the department at 201-944-0900.
