Police Still Looking For Fort Lee ATM Robber
A woman was attacked at the ATM at M&T Bank on Main Street Aug. 6.

FORT LEE, NJ — Police are still looking for man they said attacked and robbed a woman at an ATM earlier this month.
The strong-arm robbery occurred at the M&T Bank at 303 Main St. at about 10:19 p.m., Chief Keith Bendul previously said.
The attacker stole cash and two cell phones from the woman then threw her to the ground, seriously injuring her, Bendul said.

The attacker was last seen on the south walkway of the George Washington Bridge heading east toward Manhattan, Bendul said. He noted that the suspect may have been near 40th Street and 8th Avenue in Manhattan shortly after the attack.

Police describe the suspect as white, possibly Hispanic, between 5 foot 6 and 5 foot 8 inches tall, wearing a flat cap hat, a black and white T-shirt, black shorts and black sneakers and was seen riding a red-and-white mountain bike, Bendul said.
