Viewfinder: Ring of Fire, 'True Grit' Under The Stars

Images and sounds from the latest installment of Movies and Music Under the Stars in this edition of Viewfinder

Michael Patrick, lead singer of the band "Ring of Fire" formed the group in 2005. This was right around the time the movie Walk The Line was playing in theaters nationally--a movie based on renowned country singer Johnny Cash's life and career. Before the creation of Patrick's band, members were already playing country-western music but decided to hone in on a shared affection for one of the best-loved country and western singer, songwriter and musicians of all time.

"Ring Of Fire" had the crowd at the Saturday stomping their feet and clapping along to the musical tribute to Johnny Cash from the outset.

The concert was followed by an appropriate movie selection by the Fort Lee Film Commission: True Grit, a critically acclaimed remake of the 1969 John Wayne classic.
