The Chicklettes Perform, Son of Frankenstein Frightens In Spite of Heat

Viewfinder: a weekly photo gallery that takes a look at the community through the camera lens. This week, we have images and sounds from the latest installment of Movies and Music Under the Stars.

In case you missed it, and most likely you did (the extreme heat kept many Fort Lee residents indoors this weekend), The Chicklettes took the stage at the Saturday evening in spite of still sizzling temperatures, performing music from "girl bands" of the 1950s, 60s, 70s and 90s. They were the latest musicians to perform in Fort Lee as part of the Fort Lee Film Commission-sponsored, 10-week program, Movies and Music Under the Stars, which continues throughout the summer.

Chicklettes band members included singers Susanne Lo Faso (left), Sarah Tracey (Center) and Molly Amoroso (Right); saxophonist Mary Beth Ryan; keyboardist Zen Zadravec; lead guitarist Steve Raimer; bassis Guitar Paul Page; and drummer Pete Mastropaolo.

Once the Chicklettes had done their thing onstage, the audience was treated to a screening of the 1939 classic, Son of Frankenstein, starring Boris Karloff, Basil Rathbone and Bela Lugosi.
