1. Stockton University unveils $24M library expansion (photos) (njbiz.com) — Stockton University's Galloway campus has completed a $24 million expansion of the Richard E. Bjork Library, adding 34 private study rooms, a 24-hour learning commons and new digital technology that local students can use immediately. The university also launched a partnership with Niche to give future applicants faster admissions decisions and potential scholarships, starting with the fall 2027 semester.
   

2. Our Lady of Perpetual Help welcomes Father Kennedy as pastor (catholicstarherald.org) — Parishioners packed Assumption Church in Galloway as Bishop Joseph A. Williams formally installed Father Edward Kennedy as pastor of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish. The diverse congregation, including a Haitian choir and families from several cultural backgrounds, welcomed their new shepherd, whom the bishop praised as a unifying, community-focused leader.
   

3. Calls for unity at Hispanic Heritage Month flag raising (pressofatlanticcity.com) — Stockton University in Galloway kicked off Hispanic Heritage Month with a flag-raising that highlighted unity across many Hispanic cultures, languages and traditions. Speakers urged students and neighbors to celebrate their differences while focusing on the shared community that connects and supports them throughout the month's events on campus.
   

4. Egg Harbor Township man gets 14 years on drug and gun charges (breakingac.com) — A traffic stop involving Galloway Township police led to the discovery of a loaded automatic handgun and drugs, helping build a case that just earned an Egg Harbor Township man a 14-year prison sentence. Another man in the car previously received the same sentence, and both must serve at least seven years before parole eligibility.
