Gloucester Twp. Man Killed In South Jersey Motorcycle Crash: Police
South Jersey's roadways faced a deadly stretch last week, with 5 deaths in 4 days, according to officials.
WOODLAND TOWNSHIP, NJ — A Blackwood man died in a motorcycle accident last week in Burlington County, officials said.
Troopers responded to the crash at 11:50 a.m. Thursday on Route 532 in Woodland Township. Based on the preliminary investigation, a Harley Davidson was traveling east before it ran off the roadway, hit a guide rail and overturned, police said.
The motorcycle operator — Barry Schwartz, 65 — was ejected and sustained fatal injuries, according to State Police Tpr. Troy McNair.

The crash remains under investigation.
From Thursday through Sunday, five people — including Schwartz — died in crashes on South Jersey roadways, according to state data. The victims included a pedestrian in Deptford, a man driving on Interstate 295 in Mount Laurel and a bicyclist in Berlin.
