NJ Gov. Phil Murphy Lifts State Of Emergency In South Jersey
A State of Emergency that was put in place for Burlington, Camden and Gloucester counties after last week's flooding was lifted on Monday.

Gov. Phil Murphy has lifted a State of Emergency declaration for Burlington, Camden and Gloucester counties that was issued following the devastating flooding that struck South Jersey last week.
The declaration was lifted as of noon on Monday, June 24, the Governor’s Office announced. It had been put in place on Thursday, June 20, after flooding wreaked havoc across South Jersey.
Heavy rains of 2 to nearly 6 inches of rain left most of South Jersey under water last week. This lead to officials who represent all three counties asking for the declaration, which happened late Thursday afternoon.

Parts of Burlington County remained under a Flood Warning through the weekend due to extended flooding from the Rancocas Creek. Service centers for flood victims in all three counties were opened through the weekend, and remained open in Camden and Gloucester counties on Monday. Repairs also continued in some parts of Burlington County on Monday, including on New Albany Road in Moorestown.

Rain was expected early this week, but overall, milder weather appears to be on tap for the first full week of summer. Here's the forecast for the upcoming week, according to the National Weather Service:
