2nd Bald Eagle Egg Of 2026 Laid At Duke Farms In Hillsborough
The second Bald Eagle egg of 2026 arrived just three days after the first was laid.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — The second Bald Eagle egg of 2026 has arrived.
"The second Duke Farms egg was laid today, Jan. 15 at 12:42:27 p.m.," announced Conserve Wildlife Foundation of NJ.
The egg comes three days after the first one was laid. The first egg arrived on Monday at 2:50 p.m.

If the Eagle pair lay one more egg this season they will be on par with 2025, when the pair successfully welcomed three eaglets. All three eaglets all were able to fledge.
Duke Farms is located on 2,700 acres at 1112 Dukes Parkway W in Hillsborough.

"Duke Farms is a living lab where we develop model strategies for nature restoration, wildlife conservation, and clean energy transition," according to dukefarms.org.

The egg and the bald eagle parents can be seen on Duke Farms' Eagle cam, which livestreams the nest 24 hours a day, seven days a week at dukefarms.org/eaglecam.
