Listen To Chilling 911 Call By N.J. Man Accused Of Killing Grandparents With Baseball Bat

Listen to the chilling 911 call made by a New Jersey man accused of killing his grandparents with a baseball bat (see below).

The man on the 911 call said he didn't remember how he got there. But he was covered in blood.

"You don't know you got there?," the dispatcher asked.

"I have no idea, sir," the man said.

The man, who identified himself as Ezra Simon-Daniels, then quickly offered an alibi without being asked for one.

A few miles away, Simon-Daniels had allegedly killed his grandparents with an aluminum baseball bat while they slept in February, according to authorities (see 911 recording below).

"I had pizza, I was watching television and I went to bed," he said.

"OK and you're bleeding from where?" the dispatcher asked.

"I don't think I'm bleeding from anywhere. I checked. But there's blood all over," he said.

"All over what?"

"Me," he replied. "My legs. My feet My head."

So went the dispatcher call from Simon-Daniels as he was parked outside of a Walmart on Route 22 in Hunterdon County, a few miles from the murder site.

NJ Advance Media this week posted a YouTube recording of the call provided by Hunterdon County officials, who said the recording was made on Feb. 13 at 5:56 a.m.

The 20-year-old man allegedly killed Louis Simon, 78, and Beatrice Simon, 65, at their Readington Road home in Branchburg Township on Saturday, officials with the Somerset County Prosecutor’s office allege. Simon-Daniels was arrested with two counts of first degree murder in connection with the case.

A ”distraught” Simon-Daniels dialed 911 while sitting in a car in the Walmart parking lot, authorities said. When Readington Township Police responded, they found Simon-Daniels covered in blood but did not have any visible wounds on his body.

Soon after, Branchburg Police responded to Simon-Daniels’ home on Readington Road; once inside, officers reported discovering an elderly male and female, both apparent homicide victims with “significant blunt force trauma to their heads,” officials said.
