HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — Which Hudson County schools have announced closings due to the coming snowstorm?

On Sunday morning, the Jersey City schools said they'd be closed Monday. More details are here.

Bayonne schools: Details are here. Superintendent John Niesz wrote in a letter, "We are closely monitoring the weather situation in coordination with local emergency management officials. Any changes to the school schedule will be announced by Sunday afternoon, January 25th, at the latest."

East Newark Schools: Details here.

Hoboken schools: Closed Monday. Details here.

North Bergen schools: Dr. George Solter said in a letter earlier this month that any winter weather announcements will be posted on the district website, as well as communicated through other means. The website is here.

The Hoboken Public Library will close Sunday and Monday. See sign below.

The NWS expects 7-11 inches of snow starting early Sunday, then 1-3 inches of snow and sleet at night, and freezing rain and sleet into the next morning. Snow may return after 4 a.m. Monday.
