Children's Chorus offers Holiday Concert
A holiday concert by the Children's Chorus of Sussex County will be held December 12th.
The Children’s Chorus of Sussex County will present a holiday concert on Saturday, December 12th at 7:00 p.m. at Christ Church in Newton. Christmas, Hanukah and seasonal favorites will be performed along with the second movement of Benjamin Britten’s Saint Nicolas, featuring young Garrett Vanni as Nicolas.
The Children’s Chorus of Sussex County serves school-age children in and around Sussex County, New Jersey, by providing a comprehensive choral music program. Two separate ensembles perform under the umbrella of the Children’s Chorus of Sussex County: Bella Voce beginning singers in grades 1 – 6 and the Concert Choir for advanced singers in grades 7 – 12. The organization also hosts a Musikgarten program targeted towards younger students.
Tickets for the Children’s Chorus of Sussex County spring concert are available at www.ccscsings.org. Advance purchase is $8.00 per person; $12.00 at the door. Christ Church is located at 62 Main Street, at the intersection of Church Street and Route 206 in the heart of downtown Newton.
