• Jefferson Day 2026 Brings Food Trucks, Music And Drone Show To Oak Ridge (patch.com) — Jefferson Day 2026 will bring residents together at Jefferson Township High School later this month for food trucks, live music and a large Kids Adventure Zone. The daylong celebration in Oak Ridge highlights Jefferson's community spirit, local vendors and organizations, and will wrap up with a drone show at dusk.
   

• Jefferson Township High School Fall Sports Week One Roundup (tapinto.net) — Jefferson Township High School's fall teams are already deep into competition, with boys soccer off to a 2-1 start and girls soccer trying to rebound after two straight losses. Football narrowly fell to Wallkill Valley, while field hockey opened with a 3-3 draw, giving Jefferson fans plenty to watch as early-season storylines emerge.
   

• Jefferson Township Council Forced to Re-Adopt Budget Due to Library Funding Changes (tapinto.net) — Jefferson's town council has re-adopted its 2026 budget after state library officials ordered a higher library funding levy, forcing last-minute adjustments. To avoid raising the tax rate, the township boosted projected revenue from fees and permits, while officials continue pressing the state for answers on why the increase exceeds the usual legal cap.
