After Flooding During Nor'easter, Parts Of Hudson County Clean Up

Here are rain totals for Jersey City, Secaucus, and Hoboken after Monday's nor'easter.

HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — After nearly 2 inches of rain fell in Hudson County during Monday night's nor'easter, some businesses were cleaning up and a bus had to alter its route.

"Bus route 85 is on detour in Hoboken. Paterson Ave between Paterson Plank Road and Monroe Street is closed due to flooding," NJ Transit reported Tuesday. The area is near the city's southwest border with Jersey City.

The National Weather Service spotter said 1.93 inches had fallen in Hoboken by 7:45 a.m. Tuesday. Spotters also said 1.99 inches fell in Jersey City and 1.63 fell in Secaucus.

The National Weather Service had issued a Coastal Flood Advisory and flood watch for Hudson County until 8 a.m. Tuesday morning.
