Looking for a new career or to learn a new trade, from tech to construction? Workers in or near Jersey City are invited to free training.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — Jersey City is constantly building up, and attracting new businesses to expanding neighborhoods (including the recent announcement of a Brooklyn-based Food Story Natural Market coming to Journal Square). If you want to learn a trade so you can get a job locally in information technology, construction, or another field, an upcoming virtual program may be just right.

All residents or workers in the "Jersey City area" are invited the upcoming Job Opportunities and Career Training Expo via Zoom on Feb. 1. They must register using this link.

Run by the Jersey City Housing Authority, the live, virtual event will feature presentations from partnering organizations highlighting over a dozen training programs, career resources, and job openings in the Jersey City area.
