MERCER COUNTY, NJ — A brewery making beers with farm-grown ingredients is all set to open in Hamilton Township. Bent Iron Brewing recently held a groundbreaking ceremony.

Located on Extonville Road, Bent Iron Brewing will be Hamilton’s first Brewery. The site is located on a 55-acre farm.

“The craft brewery market in New Jersey has grown exponentially in recent years. I am thrilled that Bent Iron has chosen Hamilton for its location,” said Mayor Jeff Martin. “Bent Iron will bring a fresh new life to our Hamilton economy by drawing in tourists and locals.”

Construction of the 5,000-square-foot barn will begin immediately and will house the beer production and a tasting taproom where beers brewed on-site will be available for sale.

The Brewery will also have a sizable outdoor seating space with a walkable hop yard and fire pits.
