📰 News we're reading
• Excerpts form the West Essex Tribune 40 Years Ago (newjerseyhills.com) — Forty years ago this week, Livingston residents packed a township council meeting to blast plans for a new post office on West Mt. Pleasant Avenue, citing traffic and safety worries and frustration over being excluded from planning. That same meeting saw a proposed law limiting when leaves could be dumped in gutters, which the council tabled after residents objected.
