The National Guard Armory in Hackettstown, 901 Willow Grove Street, is now open to the public as a shelter, according to Hackettstown Police Det. Darren Tynan.
Showers are available and pets are allowed, but must be in crates, Tynan said.
The Armory is located 1.1 miles north of Hackettstown Regional Medical Center.
