Fairmount Fire Company Pancake Breakfast

I went to the Fairmount Fire Company Pancake Breakfast this Sunday morning. Used to go there every month until family activities and an expanding waist line changed my habits.

Everything was as good as I remembered it to be. Lots of fresh cooked food, quick friendly service, children more than welcome and meeting old friends that I don't see often enough. Endured the inevitable jokes that I was such a "dumb politician" that I came to the breakfast AFTER THE ELECTION WAS OVER.

Well people didn't vote for me based on my GPA average. A seriously good time to meet people from the community and surrounding towns during a relaxed breakfast. The next breakfast is Sunday, Dec. 11 from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Mark it on your calendar and tell your friends and family. Have a good Thanksgiving and remember the local food pantry needs donations for families in need.
