WMC Girls' Varsity Tennis Team Victorious On Visit To Madison HS

Seeing how the Tuesday, Oct. 4 morning started out with the gloomy weather pattern of late–rain, rain and more rain, one could almost expect another cancellation of the girls' varsity team tennis match scheduled later that day.

But as the day went on, the sky gradually cleared up to unveil a near-perfect fall afternoon ideally suited for almost any outdoor activities. Against that backdrop, Coach Larsen and her varsity players boarded the mini school bus to visit the team at Madison HS for a few friendly tennis matches.

After almost 2 hours of non-stop actions in which one of the matches was decided by sudden death, the Wolfpack girls edged out Madison 3-2. Suddenly, the return trip was much shorter than anyone could recall and the passengers, chattier.
