WMC Presents...

The West Morris Central drama club presents "The 1st Annual Achadamee Awards"!

One of the many clubs at West Morris Central is the drama club. Every year, they
rehearse for months and put on a wonderful production in the Fall.

This year, the play is called The 1st Annual Achadamee Awards.
It is a play based on an awards show. Awards are given out to students in high
school, like “Best Breakup” and “Best Morning Announcements”. It plays off of
the stereotypes seen in high school.

The directors, Ryan Riccordella and Allie Dean, and the cast of 18 students have been working hard to put on a great production for the school and the community.

Personally, I have tried out for the play every year of high school and have never gotten in (acting apparently isn’t my strongest talent), but I know many of the students that are in the production, and they are all very creative and funny people so I believe that it will be a very good show.

Opening night was Thursday, but the show will be performed Saturday at 7pm and Sunday at 2pm. Tickets are $5, and all proceeds go to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Also, if you buy 4 tickets, the 5th is free as a new family promotion.
