Over 20% of Long Valley residents are in the dark.

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ— Although today's nor'easter might not have reached blizzard levels some forecasters were predicting, the heavy winds and thick sticky snow has knocked out power to more than a thousand customers in Morris County — and the snow is expected to keep coming.
Nearly 1,800 customers are reporting power outages at 3:20 p.m. Tuesday, according to the JCP&L website.
Washington Township officials have said restoration is underway, and homes should have power sometime this afternoon. Mendham Township Police said power outages are expected to continue in the area as high winds persist into the evening,.
