Residents Are Asked to Restrict Water Use In Madison Borough
Borough officials and the Madison Water Department are requesting that all Madison residents and businesses observe voluntary water use restrictions during the summer months. Under the restrictions, outdoor water use will be permitted on designated days from 12:01 a.m. to 8 a.m. and then from 8 p.m. to midnight.

Madison Vigil To Honor Those Killed In Uvalde, Buffalo (UPDATE)
A community vigil is being planned for Friday night in Madison to honor the lives lost recently in Uvalde, Texas, and Buffalo, New York. "While nothing can fill the holes in the hearts of so many, coming together can help the healing process, and therefore, all are invited to join," officials said.
Madison To Mark May As Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month
Mayor Conley presented a proclamation during the Borough Council meeting on Monday, designating May 2022 as Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month in Madison. Members of the council encouraged Madison residents to learn more about the history of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.
Madison Nonprofit Appoints Member To Asian American Commission
Samantha Bobila, a board trustee for the ATNJ Education Fund (ATNJEF) in Madison, has been appointed to the New Jersey Asian American and Pacific Islander Commission. The formation of this Commission follows the 2020 Census, which revealed that New Jersey has the fourth-largest Asian American population in the country. New Jersey has over 1.05 million Asian Americans, with a 44 percent increase since the last Census.
'High' COVID Risk In Morris County, Masks Recommended Indoors
We're still not out of the woods. COVID-19 has not left the Morris County area, which may pose a greater virus risk than the rest of the state. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Morris County is one of ten in New Jersey with "High" COVID-19 community levels, with the rest remaining at low or medium risk.
