Post-Acute Care Proposal Goes Before Manchester Planners

MANCHESTER, NJ — The Manchester Planning Board is set to hear the application for a 124-bed post-acute care nursing facility Monday evening.

The facility, to be named Spring Hill Manchester, would be constructed at 2132 Route 37, at the property next to the Manchester Family Golf Center.

The facility would provide short-term care for patients who are transitioning to home after a hospital stay.

The meeting begins at 6 p.m. at town hall, 1 Colonial Drive in Manchester.

Classes resumed in the Manchester Township School District on Monday after three days of disruptions caused by rumors of a potential violent act that led to the closing of the district on Friday.

Manchester Township police investigated and found there were no credible threats. Manchester Township Schools Superintendent David Trethaway said the people responsible for starting the rumors will face consequences.
