Motorcyclist Injured In Weekend Highway Collision: Marlboro PD
Highway 79 was closed for 3 hours in Marlboro following the Sunday crash. Both drivers suffered non-life threatening injuries, police said.
MARLBORO, NJ - State Highway 79 was closed for three hours in Marlboro on Sunday afternoon after a motorcycle collided with a pickup truck, authorities said.
The collision occurred at approximately 1:15 p.m. The highway was opened back up shortly before 4 p.m., according to Marlboro Police Capt. Steve Levy.
The driver of the motorcycle - identified 26-year-old Oakhurst resident Dominic Pisano - suffered a broken leg and other internal non-life threatening injuries. The motorcyclist was assisted by Morganville First Aid and Hackensack Meridian Health emergency services and transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune for treatment.

The driver of the pickup truck was identified as a 64-year-old Freehold Borough resident Otilio Luna-Serrano. The driver didn't sustain any serious injuries, according to Levy.
While the cause of the collision has not yet been determined, there isn't any evidence that drugs or alcohol were involved. The crash is currently under investigation.
