Bambi Baby plans to open by November or December in the Middletown Marketplace shopping center on Hwy. 35, its CEO told the Asbury Park Press. Bambi Baby will be located next to Bed Bath & Beyond.
Bambi Baby specializes in baby and children's furniture, but they also have car seats. The company was founded by CEO Enelio Ortega's parents. He told the Asbury Park Press they are trying to ambitiously expand to fill the void left by Toys R Us/Babies R Us, with a unique "brick and click" model.

Bambi Baby stores function like showrooms, where customers can see the baby furniture and then either purchase in store or order online, at Internet prices, he explained.
