House Fire In Bamm Hollow Section Of Middletown Thursday Night
This was the scene on Fish Hawk Drive at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
MIDDLETOWN, NJ — There was a house fire Thursday night in the Bamm Hollow section of Middletown Township.
At 7:30 p.m. Thursday, the all-volunteer Middletown Fire Department was dispatched to smoke billowing from a two-story structure on Fish Hawk Drive in Bamm Hollow. Flames were then seen coming from windows.
The home's two residents had evacuated, but they had to be taken to Riverview Medical Center for observation, said the fire department.

The first arriving fire chief and Lincroft Fire Company were dealing with heavy fire coming from the back of the home, and on the first and second floors.
Fire Chief Russell Mount III requested back-up and he and his teams were able to put out the fire.

The fire was called under control by Mount at 8:20 p.m. and all units were cleared by 10:05 p.m.
Approximately 55 members from five companies of the Middletown Township Fire Department responded to the call from Belford Engine, Community, Middletown Number 1, River Plaza Hose and Lincroft Fire Companies. There were no firefighter injuries.
