IMA Food Drive Collects 1,000 Pounds Of Food For Middletown

A food drive this November at local doctors' offices collected more than 1,000 pounds of food for Middletown families in need.

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — IMA Urgent Care & Primary Care would like to thank everyone who donated to their Thanksgiving food drive this year: All the food donated was given directly to Middletown Helps Its Own and Fulfill Food Bank of Monmouth and Ocean counties.

Through the generosity of IMA’s patients, more than 1,000 pounds of food was dropped off to both charities, which will distribute Thanksgiving dinners to those in need.

Since 1964, Middletown Helps Its Own has been providing assistance to Middletown families and is 100-percent volunteer driven. Fulfill's mission is to alleviate hunger in Monmouth County and Ocean County.
